I recently read an article that addresses the booming private equity real estate market. Written by Josh Herrenkohl, Sr. Manager at Ernst & Young, Survival of the fittest funds addresses where the industry's focus has and hasn't been. His discussion of inefficient processes, lack of transparency and technology suggests that the industry could be headed for serious challenges and credibility concerns.
